Welcome to the website for Macedon Ranges Futsal (MRF). We are a volunteer run not-for-profit association. Our purpose is to organise and promote futsal in the Macedon Ranges area of Victoria. This includes providing a fun, safe and inclusive competition and a weekend skill development program for young players (our Skillz program). We also provide opportunities for young people to develop refereeing and coaching skills and a pathway to higher level competition through our Bushrangers representative teams for those with the aptitude and interest.

2025 Winter Season - Team's Expression Of Interest ONLY are NOW OPEN

The 2025 Winter season, which runs over term 2 and term 3 has open to Team Managers to express their teams interest by Sunday 16 March. This is not a registration. 

The division you enter is based on the grade of school you are in at the beginning of the season (which commences in term 2 of this year). Please check what day your grade division play, as there may be changes from last season.

Term 2 & 3 Winter Season Dates:

Commencing: Week of 28th April 2025

Thursday Nights: Mixed Junior Primary (Year 1 & 2), Mixed Senior Primary (Year 5 & 6), Mixed Senior Secondary (Year 11 & 12) Girls Intermediate Primary (Year 3 & 4), Girls Junior Secondary (Year 7 & 8), .

Friday Nights: Mixed Intermediate Primary (Year 3 & 4), Mixed Junior Secondary (Year 7 & 8), Mixed Intermediate Secondary (Year 9 & 10), Mixed Open Comp (for people aged Year 11 or older), Girls Junior Primary (Year 1 & 2), Girls Senior Primary (Year 5 & 6) Girls Intermediate Secondary (Year 9 & 10).

Important Notes:

• This is an Expression of Interest only, not a registration.
• Times and days for games are subject to change.
• We cannot accommodate requests to change game times or venues; the system automatically assigns these.
• All EOI forms must be submitted by March 16th. Forms submitted after this date will result in being placed on the waitlist.
• This is the season that teams move up divisions.

Grand Finals: Thursday 11 September & Friday 12 September. *Subject to change

The cost for the winter season is $130 per player. (inclusive of insurance).

Locations: Competition games are played at a range of locations including Tony Clarke Reserve Stadium in Macedon, Willowbank Primary, Gisborne Primary, The Stadium at Gisborne Secondary College and Macedon Ranges Sports Precinct in New Gisborne.
